OVERVIEW

much fun - so little space needed

Introduction
|
To play Roof Ball you need quick reflexes and good hand-eye coordination. If you like table tennis and squash then you'll probably love it. Small enough to fit on your desk, table or kitchen counter. You hit the ball on to the roof so that it rolls or bounces off on your opponent's side of the chimney. You can hit it either side of the chimney - roof side or open side. The ball is made of sponge and when given spin will curve through the air. Good players learn to swerve the ball around the open side of the chimney and on to the corner of their opponent's roof. |
"It's
lightning fast. You just stand there glued to the court, your hand flicking
about like a demented fly and I just love it. When mum's out dad sets
it up on the kitchen counter. Actually, he's not a bad player either.
I'm better, obviously (chuckle). When
I learned to swerve the ball around the other side of the chimney it gave
a whole new dimension to my play."
